We chatted about keeping any online profiles we may have private, avoiding things that look inappropriate, not following or &#8216;friending&#8217; people we do not know personally and thinking about what we say online.<\/p>\n<p>We visited <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/cbbc\/curations\/stay-safe\">CBBC Internet Safety Tips<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkuknow.co.uk\/8_10\/games\/\">Think U Know<\/a> websites for tips, games and ideas to keep ourselves safe online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some of our internet safety tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Never share passwords and make your account private &#8211; \u00a0 Leighann &amp; Drew<\/p>\n<p>Always have a private account and don&#8217;t say things that could hurt other people &#8211; Alex &amp; Angel<\/p>\n<p>Ask your parents for advice and permission. Sit near a parent whilst you are online. Don&#8217;t type things you don&#8217;t want said back to you &#8211; Lauren &amp; Kaden<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t say anything silly online, don&#8217;t follow people you do not know and don&#8217;t cyberbully &#8211; Craig, Isla \u00a0&amp; Levi<\/p>\n<p>If you think your account has been hacked or isn&#8217;t safe, warn your friends! Ignore people who try and contact you if you don&#8217;t know them. Make sure your parents know what you are up to online &#8211; Jake &amp; Jodi<\/p>\n<p>Report inappropriate picture to owners of the websites, make sure parents know you are safe online and if someone\/or a group you know is doing something silly, don&#8217;t take screenshots and don&#8217;t add them to the chat as it will probably hurt them &#8211; Emma &amp; Julia<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t on to sites you don&#8217;t know\/or they look weird, don&#8217;t trust them. If your parents say not to do something online, respect their decision.
