This morning at assembly, the children were introduced to our ‘hug monkey’ who is there for any pupil (or staff member) who might need a hug.

In their groups, our children were asked to choose a name for our monkey and then we voted for our favourite name in classes this afternoon.

He is now called Mr Cuddles and will live in Mrs Bowden’s base as this is accessible to all children at all times.

Mr Cuddles has already had a few visitors today, who have left with a big smile on their face after getting the ‘softest cuddle ever’.
