Our patroness, Mary, is the role model for our community. Through her, we come to know her Son better, leading us to embrace the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and to serve the needs of our community.

Our Lady’s High School is inclusive, open and welcoming to all. Fundamental to this is the belief that all are created in the ‘Image and Likeness of God’ (Genesis 1:26). Members of this community are not seen as labels but instead are afforded the dignity and respect of being a child of God. All of our young people will be supported to recognise and meet their potential.

Our mission is to develop and help our pupils on their lifelong journey to become engaged in society, involved in their learning and to recognise that they are the citizens of today – not just the citizens of tomorrow. We want our pupils to learn from their life experiences, both good and bad, and to foster a ‘Growth Mindset’.

Our mission is to grow in knowledge of God and of one another, to nurture the unique and intrinsic value of each person, recognising that everyone is different and with these differences, we all play a part in building the body of our school community.

Everyone is welcome, and we will cherish each person’s individuality and each person’s gifts and potential.

Our Lady’s High School Core Values

Promote the Common Good
We use our God-given talents to support the vulnerable in our community: locally, nationally and globally.
