The Council comprises parents, Church Representative and co-opted members including student representatives. The Head Teacher is the professional adviser to the Parent Council and has the right and a duty to attend all meetings. Members of the Parent Council can be contacted via the school.<\/p>\n
The Parent Council\u2019s rights and duties include:<\/p>\n
Members of Parent Councils, on a voluntary basis, may also have an advisory role in decisions on placing requests by parents in respect of those situations where the number of placing requests for a particular school or for a particular stage in a particular school exceeds the number of places available.<\/p>\n
The Chairperson of the Parent Council is Mr Ian Munro c\/o OLHS.<\/p>\n
Meetings of the Parent Council are open to members of the public and are normally the first Monday of each month.<\/p>\n
