Enhanced Provision \u2013 The Marian Base<\/h1>\n\n\n

Our Lady\u2019s High School was selected as one of 3 pilot secondary schools in North Lanarkshire to open an Enhanced Provision from August 2026. Young people will work with 3 teachers and 4 learning assistants in a hybrid model, which aims to provide inclusive learning while ensuring wellbeing. Young people will have the opportunity to learn both in the provision and in mainstream classes on a bespoke timetable based around their needs, talents and abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Enhanced Provision will be known as the Marian Base, as voted for by our first group of young people during their transition visits. This ties in with our Pupil Support house naming system and aims to help foster a sense of belonging within our school community. We aim for the Marian Base to be a welcoming, nurturing and inclusive environment at the heart of Our Lady’s High School.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marian Base staff work closely with our young people, their families and colleagues throughout the school to ensure their needs are being met and attainment is maximised. We liaise with agencies such as Educational Psychology and We Aspire to provide an individualised support program for each of our young people to secure progress and achievement for all. By recognising and celebrating the unique talents of each individual, we strive to ensure that all learners belong, participate fully in school life and flourish academically, socially and emotionally.\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n
