The Social Subjects Faculty helps learners to understand the world around them by exploring people, places, societies, and current issues. Through the study of History, Modern Studies, and Geography, young people develop knowledge, critical thinking, research, communication, and decision-making skills that prepare them for life, learning, and work. In the Senior Phase, learners can also choose from a range of specialist courses including Criminology, Politics, Travel and Tourism, and Scottish Studies, allowing them to pursue their interests and develop expertise in particular areas of the arts and social sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
