The Library is all about discovery, imagination and exploration, from reading for pleasure to subject-based investigations, to young people catching up with their own interests.<\/p>\n
We teach pupils the skills necessary for\u00a0living in a culture of\u00a0 information: not just\u00a0how to find information, but how to make best use of it,\u00a0and whether it can be trusted.<\/p>\n
The Library is also a hub for interdisciplinary learning, researching and organising visits\u00a0and speakers, and coordinating lessons from individual departments.<\/p>\n
Pupils have access to the Library throughout the day. Lunchtimes are\u00a0particularly busy with pupils completing homework, reading and exchanging\u00a0books, playing board games or with construction toys, competing in competitions\u00a0 or working on their own or simply exploring their own interests.<\/p>\n
