{"id":784,"date":"2016-06-23T09:13:46","date_gmt":"2016-06-23T09:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/olhscumbernauld\/?p=784"},"modified":"2016-08-18T11:59:29","modified_gmt":"2016-08-18T11:59:29","slug":"p7-welcome-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/olhscumbernauld\/2016\/06\/23\/p7-welcome-days\/","title":{"rendered":"P7 Welcome Days"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"gd_p\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">P7 Welcome Days<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"gd_p\" align=\"left\">On Wednesday\u00a08th and Thursday 9th of June we were joined by over 200 P7 pupils from our six associated primaries as part of their visit to Our Lady&#8217;s High School.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gd_p\" align=\"left\">This was a wonderful opportunity for all of our young people to experience first hand a typical S1 day in a busy high school. Pupils followed their S1 timetable visiting a wide range of subjects and also got the opportunity to meet lots of staff and pupils.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gd_p\" align=\"left\">The visit ended with a a wonderful sports afternoon with pupils participating in Dance, Rugby, Basketball, Football and Handball. As the visit came to a close and the 200 or so pupils were gathered in the assembly hall, red-faced, exhausted and all smiles after the sports afternoon, it was clear to see what an enjoyable couple of days they had had.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gd_p\" align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"govd_template_image\" src=\"http:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/attachments\/fancy_images\/UKNLC\/2016\/06\/900133\/935243\/p7-mix_crop.jpg\" alt=\"P7 mix\" width=\"371\" height=\"224\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"7\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>P7 Welcome Days On Wednesday\u00a08th and Thursday 9th of June we were joined by over 200 P7 pupils from our six associated primaries as part of their visit to Our Lady&#8217;s High School.
