{"id":1726,"date":"2018-06-05T11:46:57","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T11:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/olhscumbernauld\/?p=1726"},"modified":"2018-06-05T11:46:58","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T11:46:58","slug":"titanic-experience-belfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/olhscumbernauld\/2018\/06\/05\/titanic-experience-belfast\/","title":{"rendered":"Titanic Experience &#8211; Belfast"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"govd_header\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Titanic Experience &#8211; Belfast<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Our first ever Family Launch Evening took place on Monday 15 May to formally kick off our Belfast Experience.\u00a0This allowed all parents\/carers of the 31 pupils participating on the trip to receive information and to participate in various activities relating to the Titanic, including a STEM Activity, as well as investigating and researching.\u00a0The evening was a resounding success with fantastic feedback received.<\/p>\n<p>The Trip to Belfast took place on Tuesday 22 May leaving Our Lady\u2019s at 7.30 am and returning at 12.30 am the next morning.\u00a0The trip consisted of travelling to Cairnryan, hopping on the ferry to Belfast and then visiting the Titanic Exhibition and HMS Caroline.\u00a0It was a phenomenal day with pupils\u2019 behaviour, attitude, etc outstanding!! The pupils were a credit to their families.<\/p>\n<p>To complete our Belfast experience, we had a\u00a0Family\u00a0Presentation Evening on Tuesday 29 May\u00a0for all pupils and members of their families.\u00a0This consisted of pupils in their groups presenting their experiences of the Belfast Trip.
