The Parent Forum is composed of all the parents and carers of children at the school. As a member of the Parent Forum you can expect to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Get information about what your child is learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Get information about events and activities at the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Get advice\/help on how you can support your child\u2019s learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Be told about opportunities to be involved in the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Be invited to identify issues for the Parent Council to work on with the school<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><b>The Parent Council<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Our Lady\u2019s High School set up a Parent Council which has been working in the school since 2009. Its main functions are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Supporting the work of the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Representing the views of parents<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Consulting with parents and reporting back to the Parent Forum on matters of interest<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Taking part in the selection of senior promoted staff<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">Receiving reports from the head teacher and NLC<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Verdana\">All Parent Council meetings are open to all parents\/carers.
