\"\" \"\"Over the past two weeks, the children have continued on their pirate journey. They have been listening to the story of ‘My Granny is a Pirate’ and ‘Pirate Treasure’. From these stories, they have been learning what it’s like to be a pirate and the jobs they do. They have used their imagination to create stories based on the day and life of a pirate. Outdoors, they have been scrubbing the decks, playing cannon ball target practice, walking the plank and have even been on a Pirate scavenger hunt.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The children have worked together to create a pirate ship from junk: Pirate Pete is very happy with his new ship and has been feasting on fish as this week’s rhyme is 1,2,3,4,5, once I caught a fish alive. The children have also been using the fishing rods to catch the alphabet fish to keep Pete’s stock full.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

The Christmas concert practice is well underway. Please see the poster on the door with all the details.\u00a0<\/span>Parents\/carers will receive a letter next week with information about the Christmas party.<\/div>\n
