There have already been lots of exciting learning opportunities taking place. Our children have been developing their\u00a0problem-solving skills\u00a0through completing jigsaws, while exploring early numeracy through counting and subitising with marbles. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity, concentration and enthusiasm for learning shine through.<\/p>\n

Our curiosity has also taken us outdoors, where we have been carefully observing our vegetable patch and discovering what has been growing. We were super excited to find a caterpillar hiding amongst our lettuce.<\/p>\n

The children have been fascinated by our new little friend and have been carefully observing it while learning how to care for it. Together, we created a safe habitat where our caterpillar can grow and develop. We have been talking about the\u00a0life cycle of a caterpillar, exploring how it changes and transforms into a beautiful butterfly.<\/p>\n

We have also enjoyed reading\u00a0The Very Hungry Caterpillar\u00a0and making connections between the story and our own exciting discovery.<\/p>\n

We can’t wait to watch our caterpillar grow and see what happens next.<\/p>\n
