Cathedral learners took on a real\u2011world numeracy challenge for National Numeracy Day \u2014 planning the budget for a brand\u2011new skate park in Motherwell. Working together, they explored what it takes to turn a big idea into a realistic project, using maths to make smart financial decisions.<\/p>\n
They researched costs, compared options and discussed what features would give the best value for the community.
