The event opened with an insightful presentation from Mrs Duffy, who outlined the educational theory behind Cathedral\u2019s approaches and explained the careful balance of <em>adult\u2011led, adult\u2011initiated\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>learner\u2011led<\/em> experiences. Mrs Duffy also highlighted the strong similarities between Cathedral\u2019s approaches and those of primary schools in Finland, widely recognised as one of the world\u2019s leading education systems.<\/p>\n<p>Following the presentation, families headed into classrooms and learning streets where they explored a range of activities alongside their children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parents and carers of children in Primary 3\u20137 joined us on Thursday 5th February for our second Active8 Family Learning session.
