DrumChanter<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>DrumChanter <\/b>is a piping and snare drum project that introduces P6 &amp; P7 pupils from a community cluster of <strong>6 primary schools<\/strong>, to the ever popular traditional world of Scottish pipe bands.<\/p>\n<p>This is a classroom based project that takes place during the school day where the pupils have an opportunity to take a musical journey from primary provision through to secondary school, then into the NLSPB if desired and then into the local NL community where their talents can continue into adulthood.<\/p>\n<p>The pupil&#8217;s in this project will start on a chanter or a snare drum pad, stand &amp; sticks before moving onto the real instruments at High School.<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity to learn Tenor Drum &amp; Bass Drum will also be offered.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6.
