The Parent Forum will be composed of all the parents and carers of children at the school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">As a member of the Parent Forum you can expect to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0get information about what your child is learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">get information about events and activities at the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">get advice\/help on how you can support your child&#8217;s learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">be told about opportunities to be involved in the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">have a say in selecting a Parent Council to work on behalf of all parents at the school<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">be invited to identify issues for the Parent Council to work on with the school.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #000000;text-decoration: underline\"><strong>The Parent Council<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Parent Council\u2019s rights and duties include:<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0supporting the work of the school;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0representing the views of parents;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0consulting with parents and reporting back to the Parent Forum on matters of interest;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0promoting contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the wider community;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">e.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0fundraising;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">f.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0taking part in the selection of senior promoted staff;<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">g.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0receiving reports from the head teacher and education authority;
