Welcome Back NPS

Welcome Back Everyone

We hope that everyone has had a fantastic, relaxing summer, ready for the busy school term ahead. We are looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils back to Noble, new and old, and settling them into their new classroom routines.

May I remind you that Breakfast Club will also resume on Wednesday at 8:15am, where the children are supervised by Mrs Fraser, Classroom Assistant. More information about the Breakfast Club can be found on North Lanarkshire Schools website.

Lining Up

When pupils return on Wednesday at 8.55am, pupils in P2 – 7 should line up in their line from last year. Teachers will then escort the children into the hall from their line, and sort them into their new classes.

Arrangements for Primary 1 Pupils

Primary 1 pupils should be brought to the school’s main entrance and assemble in the gym hall for 9.30am. After a short welcome by Mr Murray, the children will then be escorted to their classrooms by their new class teacher. P1 parents will be  invited back to the school at 2.30pm for an opportunity to take photographs of their own child in their classroom. Due to space, no more than two adults per child in classrooms.

From Thursday 15th August onwards, Primary 1 pupils should enter the infant playground at Baird Place. Parents are asked to stay behind the gate and to allow their child to enter the playground independently. There will be staff on hand from 8.45am to supervise and support.

At the end of the school day, your child’s class teacher will escort the children to the main gate, and match them to their parent. This is to ensure that our children are collected safely at the end of the day.

We will always do our best to make transitions as smooth as possible but we ask for your patience and understanding as we try to establish routines at the beginning of term.

Looking forward to seeing all of our Noble pupils on Wednesday!!!
