On our walk to the site this morning we all looked for circle shapes in our environment.\u00a0 We found them on lots of objects\u2026\u2026.on cars, road signs, wheels and houses.\u00a0 Today we discovered ways to stay safe when playing in the woods.\u00a0 We learned about the boundaries \u2013 what they looked like and the reason for using them.\u00a0 We also practised playing safety games e.g. 123 Where Are You? It was also important that we risk assessed the area and placed plastic cones on top of hidden tree stumps.<\/p>\n
We had lots of fun exploring the site.\u00a0 There was a very muddy puddle and we loved jumping in it.\u00a0 Our boots were really muddy!\u00a0 We also discovered little buds growing on some of the plants.<\/p>\n
We all participated in a woodland workout to help us keep warm\u2026\u2026..star jumps, stretches, tree press-ups and running on the spot.\u00a0 Our hearts were beating really fast when we were finished and we were feeling warm again.\u00a0 We had lots of fun playing hide-and-seek and found interesting places to hide.<\/p>\n
