Here are some ideas you may wish to try as you read your copy of the book together. There is a copy of the story in our lending library if you wish to borrow it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Vocabulary \u2013 grazing, sighed, scampered<\/li>\n<li>Organise resources to support new vocabulary\/retell story etc.<\/li>\n<li>Book Handling skills (front and back cover, spine, blurb etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Ask children to predict what the story is about from cover, point to the title, read blurb, count the words in the title (Title is made up of words, words are made up of letters)<\/li>\n<li>Author &amp; Illustrator &#8211; discuss<\/li>\n<li>Point to words, where start reading?
