\nThe Parent Council\u2019s rights and duties include:
\n*supporting the work of the school
\n* representing the views of parents
\n*consulting with parents and reporting back to the Parent Forum on matters of interest
\n*promoting contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the wider community
\n* fundraising
\n* taking part in the selection of senior promoted staff
\n* receiving reports from the Head Teacher and education authority
\n* receiving an annual budget for administration, training and other expenses
\n*improving home school partnership and facilitating parental involvement.<\/p>\n
