Cleaning up the planet !
Mrs Donnelly has asked our Primary 4 class to do a very important job this year. They have been asked to clean up our playground and promote recycling. Before they can promote recycling the Primary 4s have had to learn more about the project and investigate the process involved in recycling. They discovered that we play a vital role within the recycling process as we are needed to collect the recycling before it can be reused and made into other things. Therefore, Primary 4 decided that they would raise awareness within the school by putting up posters, talking to the other pupils during assembly and even monitoring the amount of litter left in the playground. Sadly P4 counted and collected a lot of litter but by the end of the year we hope to be recycling a lot more. P4 have also created a litter picking rota to make sure that none of our litter is left to harm the environment.
