This is the last week of the current homework grid. The children have their RE booklet to complete Session 4, Sumdog for online numeracy and new this week a spelling task!

Spelling Words for the Lollipop and Candy Groups:

These words have been introduced over the past weeks. Ask your child to spell them. They can write them down on the back of old envelopes, whiteboard or even say them aloud. Ask your child to think of an interesting sentence for each one. You many choose to ask them to tell you the sentence or if you prefer write down. Exercises like this are a great way of using up the junk mail coming through our doors. You do not need to return it to school. The children regularly complete dictation exercises in the class using a range of words so I will be able to see their hard word in their jotters.
