When writing and talking we use the word said a lot! Your challenge is you have 5 minutes to say all the words you could use instead of said. Ask an adult to work with you for the 5 minutes. Then look at the word mat below. Did you get them all or did you know others not on the mat. How many can you get in 5 minutes.
Another word we tend to over use is went! Can you follow the same instructions above for the word went – remember you are saying them not writing them down so you need the adult to listen for 5 minutes! How many did you get?
