This is a mathematical puzzle. You need to shade map regions/countries so that they are different colours. If they share a border they must have a different colour.

In 1976 two mathematicians said that you only needed 4 colours to complete any map.  Are they correct?

Use these worksheets to prove their rule correct or incorrect. Take your time!
