Primary 3/4 studied knights and castles this term. We looked at medieval jewellery and celtic designs. The children had the opportunity to design a piece of jewellery and make it in clay. They then painted and decorated with gold, silver and many precious jewels.

We held a museum open day for the other classes. Each child had a role, tour guide, greeter and security guard!

We had our jewellery on display for the parents at parents’ afternoon and evening. Many of the parents were very impressed with the creative designs.
