Here are some tasks for you to do today and over the week ahead.<\/p>\n
Literacy<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n P2 Spelling words<\/p>\n take, gave, cold, don’t, walk, grow, again<\/p>\n P3 Spelling words<\/p>\n does, changes, think, Friday, most, colour<\/p>\n Task 1<\/span> – Write the words, cover, spell and check then pyramid spell all words.<\/p>\n Task 2<\/span> – Draw a picture – any picture – then secretly hide your spelling words within the picture. If you can,\u00a0 post on media and I will try to find your words. Ask someone in your home if they can find your words.<\/p>\n Task 3<\/span> – Write a silly spelling story and include all your spelling words.\u00a0 Your silly story does not have to make sense.<\/p>\n Numeracy<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n P2 children – with assistance from a parent, look in your cutlery drawer. Take out all the teaspoons and spoons.\u00a0 How many do you have in total? Now make up sums like this…<\/p>\n 3 spoons and 4 spoons = 7 spoons (3+4=7)<\/p>\n Collect the spoons into little groups of 2 like this … 2 groups of 2 = 4 or 2 groups of 3 = 6. 2 groups of 4 = 8….keep going if you have enough spoons!<\/p>\n P3 children you can also have some fun with spoons.<\/p>\n P3 children also keep practising topmarks and sumdog games.<\/p>\n Here’s a game to try.<\/p>\n Take two dice and roll them until you get a two digit number for example 12 then roll a single dice once for example 5.\u00a0 Make a sum with these two number<\/p>\n 12 + 5 = 17<\/p>\n 12 – 5 = 7<\/p>\n How many different sums can you make?<\/p>\n Roll the dice 6 times and soon you will have a full page of sums.<\/p>\n Health and Wellbeing<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Finally boys and girls… we are allowed to go out more and the weather is fine so here is a little video for you to watch then try to spot some of these birds when you are out and about.<\/p>\n http:\/\/12. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/maddiemoate<\/p>\n Have a great day<\/p>\n Your teacher<\/p>\n Mrs Houston<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Buenos dias a todos, I hope you are all well and had a lovely long weekend.
