Hi boys and girls.  Today’s STEM focus is Maths and you will need to use your problem solving skills too!  You will need some matchsticks/cocktail sticks or even some long lego pieces of the same size would do.

Look at this picture below and use your sticks to make it.  Can you change 5 squares in to 4 in only 2 moves?

For an extra challenge Primary 3, create the square patterns below and try to continue the table.  Can you see a pattern developing?  Can you explain the pattern?
