Listen to story about “The Snail and the Whale” or read this book with an adult if you have it at home.

Imagine you are the snail who wants to go on an adventure. Write a story with a beginning, middle and end about your snail and where he or she wants to go. Maybe they want to travel to somewhere hot? Or maybe somewhere cold?
Primary One children: Can you write a beginning, middle and end story about your snail using the grid below ?
Primary Two children: Remember to answer these questions in your story :
- When did your story happen?
- Where does your story take place?
- Who is in your story?
- What happened first ?
- How did the character feel ?
- What happened at the end ?
