Hi everyone!

My name is Miss McMillan and I am a History & Modern Studies teacher at Brannock High School, North Lanarkshire.

I have always loved reading. I have been reading since I was at primary school and have read hundreds of books over the years.

My favourite genres are fantasy and science fiction but I also enjoy crime, thrillers, factual, historical, comedy and self-help.

Everyone always asks “Oh so what’s your favourite book then?” and I reply “I have no idea – there are too many!”. If I’m honest my favourite book changes a lot. It depends on a lot of things. But some of my all-time favourites are:
