Lots of transition!
Last week all of our Dalziel pupils attended their two day visit. We are all very excited to go to secondary school.
We have spent even more time at Dalziel with our class for the Science Fayre, which was very interesting, and very warm!!! We are extremely proud of our very own team of Ladywell scientists who won the spot of representing our school with their very own experiment stall at the Science Fayre.

Dalziel Maths Competition
On Friday, two teams of children from P7a and P7b attended the Dalziel Maths Competition to represent Ladywell.
They took part in a variety of activities where they used their problem solving skills.
We were delighted to hear on their return that they came 2nd place and 4th place in the competition and most importantly, had a great time!
Well done!!

Dalziel Science Fayre
Over the past two weeks we have been planning and preparing our very own science experiments. This has involved a lot of research, team work and creativity.
On Friday all of our hard work paid off and we showcased our experiments and what they taught us about Science. Our experiments were judged by a team from Dalziel High School. They were VERY impressed with all of our efforts. We can’t wait for our winning team to represent Ladywell at the Dalziel Science Fayre next week.

St. Andrew’s Hospice Wear Yellow Walk
On Wednesday we walked 6k in Strathclyde Park in support of St. Andrew’s Hospice.
We had amazing weather which meant we also had the chance to play football, sunbathe, play on the Roman Ruins, play in the park, paddle in the water…and bury our friends in the sand!!!
Most importantly, we raised money for St. Andrew’s Hospice – thank you to everyone who sponsored us.
