Such circumstances should be discussed and agreed upon in advance with a member of the Senior Management Team.<\/p>\n<p>If a mobile phone is brought to school by a child, the school cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.<br \/>\nMobile phones should never be used as a vehicle for bullying, invasion of privacy or photography. This is illegal and will not be tolerated.<br \/>\nUse of mobile phones which disrupts ongoing work in the classroom is considered unacceptable and will result in confiscation until the end of the school day.<br \/>\nIf, for any agreed reason, a child has a mobile phone in school it must be switched off and kept in their school bag during school hours.<br \/>\nMobile phones brought to school without permission will be confiscated by a member of the Senior Management Team and returned to the owner at the end of the school day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Knowetop Primary School Mobile Phones Policy In light of the issues highlighted below, it is advisable that children do not bring a mobile phone to school except in exceptional circumstances.
