<\/a><\/p>\nPlease remember, today is the final day to order a Christmas Lunch for 6th December.\u00a0 If you have not yet returned your child’s order form, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL OFFICE TODAY<\/strong> as we need to make sure all the shopping is done on time!<\/p>\n Remember, P.6 & 7 pupils need to pay for meals BEFORE they order them.\u00a0 We have a number of pupils running up lunch bills just now.\u00a0 Please call the school office if you are having any difficulty paying.<\/p>\n OPEN AFTERNOON<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Next Wednesday, 29th November, we will open our doors to welcome the families of P.2-P.7 pupils in to join in our learning.\u00a0 We look forward to seeing many of you next Wednesday between 1.45pm and 2.45pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 There is no need to stay for the whole hour and if you have multiple classes to visit you can pop in and out as you please.<\/p>\n (Remember, P.1 pupils and nursery children have already had the opportunity to have parents in, so their rooms will not be open to visitors on this occasion.)<\/p>\n ST ANDREW’S DAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n St Andrew’s Day falls on Thursday next week.\u00a0 We look forward to having a special Scottish-themed assembly that day.\u00a0 If your child wants to, they are welcome to wear a touch of tartan with their uniform.\u00a0 As always, please do not go out and buy something specially for this; we mean an item you have at home already.<\/p>\n ECO CLOTHING RAILS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n From next Friday, 1.12.23, our Eco Clothing Rails will be available to any families who wish to come and browse.\u00a0 Please call at the school office between 2.45pm and 3.15pm any Friday afternoon and you can take time to see if you can make use of any of the clothing there.\u00a0 Bring a bag and help yourself!\u00a0 We would be delighted if you could support us in this venture as our Eco and RRSA pupil groups aim for higher accreditation.<\/p>\n 6TH DECEMBER – A BIG DAY!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n On 6th December we have 3 things happening!<\/p>\n We are celebrating our Christmas Jumper Day, the Parent Council are collecting donations for their Christmas Hampers and we have our Christmas Lunch in both the school and nursery!\u00a0 Not long now!<\/p>\n CHRISTMAS PLANS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n December is just around the corner, so remember to refer to your Annual Calendar of Events for all the remaining dates coming up this term.<\/strong><\/p>\n DECEMBER<\/span><\/p>\n 6th – Christmas Lunch, Christmas Jumpers, Christmas Hamper donations<\/p>\n 12th – Panto Trip (Jack & the Beanstalk)<\/p>\n 13th – Christmas Market (Parents welcome 3-4pm)<\/p>\n 14th – P.4 & 5 Christmas Party (pm)<\/p>\n 15th – P.6 & 7 Christmas Party (pm)<\/p>\n 18th – Christmas Show (1.30pm)<\/p>\n 19th – Christmas Show (9.45am)<\/p>\n 20th – Christmas Show (9.45am)<\/p>\n 20th – P.2 & 3 Christmas Party (pm)<\/p>\n 21st – P.1 Christmas Party (pm)<\/p>\n 22nd – Nursery Christmas Party<\/p>\n 22nd – Close for holidays (school shuts 2.30pm\/nursery normal hours)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n CHRISTMAS SHOW<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Letters will be coming home in school bags today, with details of tickets sales for our Christmas Show: Christmas Around the World.\u00a0 \u00a0As our nursery pupils are taking part in only one performance, there are slightly different arrangements in place.\u00a0 Nursery parents need to check which day their child is taking part BEFORE<\/span> buying tickets.\u00a0<\/strong> Please check your child’s bag for this information tonight.<\/p>\n As always, we will try to ensure every family<\/strong> gets the chance to purchase at least 2 tickets<\/strong>.\u00a0 Space in the hall is limited, but we will work with you to make sure tickets are shared out fairly.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
