REMEMBER, SCHOOL AND NURSERY ARE NOT OPEN ON MONDAY AS WE HAVE AN IN-SERVICE TRAINING DAY FOR STAFF.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Week 2 menus for both the school and nursery for lunches next week.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to some special lunches coming up… on 22nd November<\/span> we have a special Under the Sea<\/strong><\/span> menu (more details next week!) and on Wednesday 8th December<\/span> we plan to have our Christmas Lunch<\/strong><\/span>!\u00a0 Look out for further details soon.<\/p>\n

PARENTS’ NIGHTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As you know our Parents’ Nights will be carried out by PHONE CALLS\u00a0 this time.\u00a0 If you haven’t done so already, please book your appointment for school pupils using the online booking system<\/strong>.\u00a0 Teachers will phone\u00a0 you at your chosen time next Wednesday or Thursday.<\/p>\n

Nursery Staff will speak to parents at drop off and pick up times to organise their time-slots the following week.<\/p>\n

PARKING<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Can I please remind everyone of the need to park safely and legally before and after the school day.\u00a0 It is our priority to keep your child safe.<\/p>\n

We must also be mindful of our neighbours too.\u00a0 \u00a0Respect is one of our key school values and we want to show our local community that we care about the needs and feelings of each other.<\/p>\n

HT’S GOLD BOOK<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Gold Book has started again!\u00a0 Please remember to complete a nomination form if your child has done something you are very proud of.\u00a0 This can be something they have achieved at home or in an after-school club.<\/p>\n

ASSEMBLIES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We continue to enjoy stage assemblies, with a few classes meeting together in the hall weekly.\u00a0 This week our House Captains and Vice-Captains shared some of the ideas for future events.\u00a0 I am very excited to see what they are going to do with some of these ideas!\u00a0 Awards this week were for Mathematicians, but we had some extra certificates for demonstrating our school values too. FANTASTIC!\u00a0 Well done to all who received a certificate this week.\u00a0 Now, who will be receiving Writing Awards next week?<\/p>\n\n
