{"id":5882,"date":"2021-02-28T11:02:30","date_gmt":"2021-02-28T11:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/?p=5882"},"modified":"2021-02-28T11:02:30","modified_gmt":"2021-02-28T11:02:30","slug":"mrs-ns-notes-26-2-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/2021\/02\/28\/mrs-ns-notes-26-2-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Mrs N&#8217;s Notes, 26.2.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Week 3 menus for the week ahead<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/files\/2020\/11\/Week-3-Menu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5539\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/files\/2020\/11\/Week-3-Menu.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/files\/2020\/11\/Week-3-nursery.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5540\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/kirkshawswebsite\/files\/2020\/11\/Week-3-nursery.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"565\" height=\"420\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>ECO FOCUS WEEK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are looking forward to an Eco focus in the week ahead.\u00a0 Whether working at home or in the building, all classes have an exciting range of activities planned that can be carried out both indoors and outside.\u00a0 We are very proud of all our Eco awards and we are not going to let this period of Lockdown get in the way of our next accreditation.\u00a0 Mrs King is leading the way, with all classes committed to supporting her in this mammoth task.\u00a0 Here we go, Team Kirkshaws to win!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>WORLD BOOK DAY &amp; WORLD BOOK WEEK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Next week also sees us celebrating World Book Week, with World Book Day falling on Thursday 4th March.\u00a0 As always, we will have a range of literacy tasks planned to encourage everyone to read more and enjoy different texts.\u00a0 Once again, this can be done at home or in school or nursery &#8211; wherever you are working this week.\u00a0 The one big difference is that those in the school building will not be dressing up or bringing their favourite books in this year &#8211; COVID restrictions remain in place, which means we do not want pupils bringing any additional items in from home.\u00a0 \u00a0Despite this, we are aiming to have plenty fun with books this week.\u00a0 Wherever you are&#8230;KEEP READING!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>READING BOOKS TO COLLECT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Some classes have reading books ready to collect for the week ahead.\u00a0 Rooms 8, 10 and 15 have books ready for everyone.\u00a0 In Room 5, the Alligators, Ants and Bears also have books to collect.\u00a0 If you haven&#8217;t already collected them, please come to the front entrance early in the week, avoiding 9am and 3pm if possible.<\/p>\n<p>Please return any books you already have at home before taking your new set.
