Week 2 menu this week. Please take time to discuss the meal options with your child.\u00a0 Sometimes our younger children can be overwhelmed with the choice if they are not prepared beforehand.<\/p>\n

This is Maths Week across Scotland.\u00a0 Our pupils will be carrying out EXTRA<\/span><\/strong> Maths this week\u2026and they just can\u2019t wait! Sumdog is going down a treat and I know many of parents are having trouble limiting screen-time this week because of this. Sorry!\u00a0 We are also having a whole-school focus on Symmetry this week.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see what exciting activities lie ahead!<\/p>\n

Look out for After-School Club information coming home this week.\u00a0 Our clubs are always very popular, so best to return any slips quickly.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Monday<\/td>\nThe Hub Club meets after school today.\u00a0 Martin Bell will be in the Literacy Hub from 2.30pm to meet with any parents who want to make use of the Lending Library or would like his help or advice.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Tuesday<\/td>\nP.7 P.E. Transition Event to Coatbridge High School.\u00a0 Pupils will be out all morning, but will be back in school by lunchtime.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Wednesday<\/td>\nJRSO Training.\u00a0 Miss McIntyre will be travelling to Motherwell with our Junior Road Safety Officers to carry out their annual training.<\/p>\n

Bikeability \u2013 Week 3.\u00a0 All pupils who are involved are aware of the arrangements.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Thursday<\/td>\nCoatbridge Cluster Head Teachers\u2019 Meeting<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Friday<\/td>\nCelebration Assembly \u2013 remember to bring any achievements from outside school to share with us all.\u00a0 Mathematician Awards this week\u2026it is Maths Week Scotland, after all!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Some dates for your diary:<\/p>\n

A Local By-Election has been announced and will take place on Thursday 25th<\/sup> October.\u00a0 Our school will be used as a polling station.\u00a0 The building will therefore be closed to pupils in the school and nursery for that one day.\u00a0 Look out for a letter in school bags on Monday containing this information.<\/p>\n

Fundraisers Coffee Morning \u2013 Thursday 4th<\/sup> October (am)<\/p>\n

We plan to hold our Harvest Celebration on Friday 5th<\/sup> October. Room 4 will be using their persuasive language skills when they write letters home to every family over the next few weeks.\u00a0 This year we plan to split our donation between St James\u2019 Way and the local Food Bank.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
