One more week until our mid-term break next weekend.\u00a0 Remember school is closed Monday 12th<\/sup> & Tuesday 13th <\/sup>February.\u00a0 Pupils do not attend on Wednesday 14th<\/sup> either, as this is a teachers\u2019 in-service training day.<\/p>\n

Monday night is our next Parent Council Meeting.\u00a0 All parents welcome.<\/p>\n

Over the next few weeks we will introduce text messaging as a further means of communication with home.\u00a0 Please let the office know if your mobile numbers have changed.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Monday<\/td>\nThe Baldy Bain Theatre Company will be in school performing The Journey<\/span> for P.6 & P.7 pupils.\u00a0 A road safety message, relevant to young people who are becoming more independent.<\/p>\n

The Netball League continues this morning, with 10 pupils attending.<\/p>\n

Two P.7 pupils will attend Coatbridge High School for a rehearsal for their Burns Supper.<\/p>\n

3pm \u2013 P.4-7 Football, P.1-3 Family Fitness and Cross Country<\/p>\n

7pm until 8pm \u2013 Parent Council Meeting.\u00a0 All Kirkshaws Parents will be made most welcome.<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Tuesday<\/td>\nINTERNET SAFETY DAY \u2013 we will be discussing this in class and at our stage assemblies today.<\/p>\n

Two\u00a0 P.7 pupils will accompany Miss Clowes to an Internet Safety Event in Motherwell. They will report back to the school on Friday.<\/p>\n

We have some vision and teeth health checks taking place in school today.<\/p>\n

3pm \u2013 P.1-3 Cheerleading & P.5-7 Archery<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Wednesday<\/td>\nBox Soccer, Growth Mindset training continues today for four classes.<\/p>\n

After school clubs today: P.4-7 Dance, P.3-7 Knitting & Crochet, P.1-3 Football<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Thursday<\/td>\nPrimary 5 continue swimming & sports at The Time Capsule this afternoon.<\/p>\n

3pm \u2013 P.2-4 Archery, P.5-7 Netball<\/p>\n

Coatbridge High School celebrate Burns Night tonight, with 2 of our senior pupils taking part.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Friday<\/td>\nOur Celebration Assembly today will focus on the issues surrounding Internet Safety.<\/p>\n

There is a P.6 Maths Challenge at Coatbridge High.\u00a0 A team of 4 pupils have been practising hard\u2026go Kirkshaws!<\/p>\n

Our Sponsor Event takes place this afternoon.\u00a0 We are looking forward to welcoming a professional athlete to work with us!\u00a0 Remember P.E. kits.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

While we will continue to welcome pupils into school at any<\/em><\/strong> time of the day, late-coming is becoming more of an issue at the moment.\u00a0 I know the bad weather has affected this, so hopefully everyone can get back into their normal routine now.\u00a0 Pupils who miss the start of the lesson can spend hours catching up.\u00a0 Thank you for your support in this.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
