Looking back over the past week, I’m amazed at how we have managed to fit it all in!\u00a0 We’ve welcomed two new pupils into the Kirkshaws family and it has been so encouraging to see the hand of friendship being offered to both girls by their classmates.<\/p>\n

Rehearsals in the hall have become more regular, with both the Nursery Nativity and the School Christmas Show looming.\u00a0 If you are planning to join us for either of these performances, you are in for a treat.\u00a0 In addition, the new school choir are practising some seasonal songs to share with the whole school on the last day of term.\u00a0 Four senior pupils are also busy learning song words, as they have volunteered to join the Cluster Choir ~ preparing to take part in the Coatbridge High Christmas Concert this week.<\/p>\n

Weekly swimming lessons have started in Primary 5, with everyone enjoying the afternoon of sports on offer at the Time Capsule.<\/p>\n

Then the Panto, Bring & Buy Sale and Christmas F\u00eate kept us busy right up to the end of the week too.\u00a0 All in all, it has been a busy wee week, but That’s Not All Folks<\/em><\/strong>…here’s a summary of the week ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Keep learning song words at home for our Christmas Show.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry too much about the tunes; we\u2019ll be practising in school too.<\/p>\n

All after-school clubs have stopped now for the term.\u00a0 A new set of clubs will start again in January.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Monday<\/td>\nSome P.7 pupils are off to practise with the Cluster Choir at Coatbridge High School.<\/p>\n

Room 5 are holding their Enterprise event this afternoon for parents, carers and invited guests.<\/p>\n

Mr Sharp & Mrs Nicolson will be meeting with other local schools to discuss how we can develop Mental Agility across all stages.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Tuesday<\/td>\nWe\u2019ll be practising our Christmas Songs at Assembly today.<\/p>\n

CHRISTMAS LUNCH!\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Wednesday<\/td>\nChristmas Show practising will continue\u2026<\/p>\n

Remember to buy your tickets.\u00a0 All families have been allocated 2 tickets to start with.<\/p>\n

Coatbridge High School Christmas Concert.\u00a0 Some of our P.7 pupils will be performing in the Cluster Choir.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Thursday<\/td>\nIt is time for our Nursery pupils to take to the stage to perform their Nativity.\u00a0 Two performances today, at 11am and 2pm.<\/p>\n

P.5 Swimming continues.<\/p>\n

Extra<\/em><\/strong> <\/span>tickets for the School Show go on general sale today.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Friday<\/td>\nThis morning we hope to have a full rehearsal of our Christmas Show, ready for our first audience on Monday 18th<\/sup>!<\/p>\n
