Everyone knows that a change can sometimes be a good thing, but with change comes anxiety, doubt and a fear of the unknown. This of course is natural, but sometimes some young people just need that extra bit of reassurance and guidance. To that end, we offer an enhanced transition so that coming from primary to secondary is not as big a shock to the system and pupils are more at ease. To do this we arrange extra visits to Kilsyth Academy and deliver targeted workshops to give some of the primary pupils a smoother transition into secondary.
