Pupils study a range of topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>file handling<\/li>\n<li>cyber resilience<\/li>\n<li>internet safety<\/li>\n<li>cash budgeting<\/li>\n<li>word processing<\/li>\n<li>building digital solutions<\/li>\n<li>Disneyland Project allows pupils to work in small teams on various activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0Microsoft\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><strong>Office<\/strong> <\/em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">software\u00a0 is used throughout the course:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Word<\/li>\n<li>Excel<\/li>\n<li>Access<\/li>\n<li>Publisher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As well as some on some other free to download software:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kodu<\/li>\n<li>Serif<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>S1 Enrichment Course<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>S1 pupils have the oppertunity to chose an Enrichment course to take part in 1 period a week. Pupils who choose to take part in the S1 Business Enrichment class take part in a number of different hands on activities all linked to Business and Enterprise.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Topics studied are:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business start up decisions (location, name, finance, business plan)<\/li>\n<li>Staff recruitment<\/li>\n<li>Advertising<\/li>\n<li>Market
