At Kildrum Primary School, we encourage children to be curious, ask questions and explore how things work through exciting, hands-on learning experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children learn about a wide range of scientific topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Living things and the natural world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials and their properties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forces, energy and electricity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The environment and sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The human body and health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through science, children develop skills that help them to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>observe, investigate and experiment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ask questions and solve problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gather and interpret information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>think critically and make informed decisions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>understand how science affects everyday life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>develop teamwork and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Science learning at Kildrum is active, practical and engaging.
