Anti-Bullying

At Kildrum Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, included and respected. We do not tolerate bullying of any kind, including verbal, physical, emotional or online bullying.

Promoting positive relationships is an important part of school life. Through our Health and Wellbeing curriculum, children learn about friendship, kindness, respect, inclusion and online safety. We encourage all children to speak to a trusted adult if they are worried about themselves or someone else.

Staff regularly support children in developing positive relationships and are vigilant in identifying and addressing concerns. All reported incidents are taken seriously and investigated in line with school and North Lanarkshire Council procedures.

We work closely with parents and carers to ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and that appropriate support is put in place for all children involved.

If you have any concerns about your child’s wellbeing or believe they may be experiencing bullying, please contact your child’s class teacher or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
