Expressive Arts
The Expressive Arts play an important role in helping children develop creativity, confidence and self-expression. Through Art and Design, Drama, Dance and Music, children have opportunities to explore their talents, use their imagination and share their ideas with others.
Expressive Arts experiences help children to:
- express themselves in creative and imaginative ways
- build confidence and resilience
- develop problem-solving and teamwork skills
- participate in performances, presentations and creative projects
- appreciate different cultures, traditions and artistic styles
- discover and develop their individual talents and interests
At Kildrum Primary School, children enjoy a wide range of expressive arts experiences throughout the year. These opportunities encourage creativity, inspire curiosity and help children develop skills that support learning across the curriculum.
We believe that the Expressive Arts enrich school life and give every child the opportunity to experience success, achievement and enjoyment.
