At Kildrum Primary School, we encourage children to learn about and celebrate diversity. By exploring different beliefs, cultures and traditions, children develop understanding, respect and an appreciation of the world around them.

Where appropriate, children may also have opportunities to visit local places of worship or learn from visitors who can share their experiences and beliefs.

Parental Rights

Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from Religious and Moral Education or religious observance. If you wish to do so, please contact the Head Teacher to discuss arrangements.

Parents and carers may also request authorised absence for their child to celebrate recognised religious festivals or events. Requests should be made to the school in advance.
