Chryston Primary at Kilbowie

The wi-fi here wasn’t working too well yesterday throughout the day. We could only post to the blog in the morning. We are going to try and add to this post today prior to breakfast  as we managed that yesterday but were unable to do so again later on. Currently blogging without the children before anyone else gets up and restricts our wi fi connection….

I’m excited to do skiiing this morning. I could hear people downstairs last night. I got to sleep eventually. – Maggie

I’m tired having to get up at half 7. I’m looking forward to going skiing. It was hard to get to sleep because of the noise. – Liam

I found it hard to get to sleep last night. I’m excited to do Safari and Navigation today. – Lewis

I couldn’t get to sleep until midnight last night because my friends were making too much noise! I’m excited to go gorge walking. I’m having a lot of fun. -Matthew

Yesterday we slid along a big puddle on the football pitch. All the shoes were full of dirt. We went into the sea up to our waist. I’m having a good time. – Jocelyn

Yesterday we played the aeroplane game outside last night. We had to find different flights to different places. I didn’t get to sleep until midnight. – Jake

Yesterday we did an activity jumping across the rocks across the ocean. It was really good fun and we got wet. I’m looking forward to doing all the activities. – Luka

We did canoeing yesterday and it was really fun and some of us got really wet because we got to jump off the pier. – Max

We did a walk yesterday and we learned about different plants from the instructor. I’m looking forward to skiing this morning. – Lorna

I’m looking forward to gorge walking today. We’re doing hiking as well today. – Angus R

I slept well last night. At the start we were talking a bit and then we just went to sleep. I’m looking forward to going climbing today. – Jordan

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay it took us a while to get the internet up and running here. It is intermittent and we will blog when we can. Currently it is all quiet here as all children are in their beds.

We arrived just after 1.15pm and we were told what rooms we were in. After that we had time to unpack before we went for lunch. After lunch we went upstairs and waited for the fire drill to be set off. After fire drill we found out our groups for the week -Kali and Grace

My group tried on wetsuits and went canoeing – Kali

My group did the rock walking around the shore. We got very wet and I fell in a few times. – Rachel

Today we got our outfits today and we found out where to put them. Our group are gorge walking and hIll walking tomorrow  – Brodie and Marty

Our group had a tour round the centre and then we were skidding in puddles and jumping in the sea. -Christopher

Today we got all our equipment. I’m looking forward to skiing tomorrow. I’m in a room with Joe, Chris and Marty – Ben­

Enroute this morning. Unfortunately the wifi at Kilbowie is not working. Staff will upload images and posts when they are able to.
