On Sunday the 3rd of March pupils form St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw organised a coffee morning to raise funds for St Andrews hospice.
The morning consisted of home baking, tea and coffee and a raffle with prizes. The main organiser was Jennifer Murray an s6 student who is a St Andrew’s ambassador. It was £3 to enter and £1 per strip for raffle tickets and all donations went to the hospice. Everyone that came along had a great time and said it “a fantastic amount of effort went in and the pupils should be proud to be involved in such a good cause”. The morning was a success as the pupils raised £476.95.
Great work on both the article and the event! 🙂
