Andy Murray has recently revealed that he intends to end his career after Wimbledon but his injury may restrict that from happening and his last ever tournament may be the Australian open next week.
The 31 year old had only managed to play 12 matches last year as his injury was restricting him to play as he had “severely injured” his hip and had been playing with this injury “for a number of years” and was that bad he would sometimes even struggle to put on his shoes and socks.
In a recent interview with a tearful Andy he had stated that “During my training block (in Miami last month) I spoke to my team and told them I can’t keep doing this. “I needed to have an end point because I was sort of playing with no idea when the pain was going to stop. “I said to my team, look i think i can get through this until Wimbledon. “That’s where i’d like to stop playing but i’m also not certain i’m able to do that.”, Although it will be sad to see Andy move on as he has managed to achieve so much throughout the years for example, He has won three Grand Slam titles and reached 11 Grand Slam finals, also winning 45 singles titles in his career.
