Mrs Mullen’s drama club put on a tremendous Christmas play on Wednesday 12th December. The talented group of young people who meet at lunchtime and after school have been devoting their time and talent to creating a production of “A Christmas Carol”, the classic Charles Dickens tale of ghostly goings on in the festive season.
The students managed all aspects of the performance from front of house to backstage technical tasks and excelled in every aspect of the performance.
Weeks of hard work, that included making some marvellous stage props, culminated in an enthusiastic and fun-filled evening, with some striking performances from the young actors.
Mrs Mullen thanked all of the young people involved, commenting, “The energy and talent that everyone brought to the performance was really astonishing. I am so proud that the club contributed so much to this great evening. I would also like to thank Miss McDowall and Miss Hughes of the English Department who have contributed so much to helping the young people make a success of this evening”
