Gambling, Drugs and….iphones?

According to Baroness Susan Greenfield and other leading experts in the field of biomedical and cognitive research screen time on a variety of pursuits can lead to hedonistic sensation seeking in people…. that makes me sound like an old man….

Anyway according to the Baroness video games aaand  social media is a way for us to embrace are sensationalist tendencies. While it is true and backed up by peer reviewed papers that video games can lead to more aggression and social media to more anxiety that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Baroness greenfield explained that regular mental use leads to physical growth of the affected parts of the brain. If this is true what will happen to us? Or even our kids if we continue on this pattern? Are people so focused on the here and now that they are incapable of thinking of future consequences?

God help us all!
