Multi-Talented Prodigy

 

A passionate young girl succeeds in various arts hidden within St Aidan’s walls we explore her talents and victory’s.

Samantha has expressed that pipe band is her passion. She practises about once a week to learn the new skills she will need for continuing her music throughout her time at St Aidan’s high. She sticks to a tight schedule to make sure her music doesn’t interfere with any school work or studying she may have to do. She is a dedicated member of North Lanarkshire Schools Pipe Band. Samantha feels that participating in the band has gave her more confidence and helped improve her social skills. In The recent competition ‘British Scottish Schools Europeans Coatbridge’ she also claimed that she is “so competitive it’s bad”. Her Achievements are still growing and she is excited to see what lies ahead for her extraordinary musical talent.

She also has another great talent that lies in the dancing community. Samantha attends Epic Elementz which is a street dancing school in which she attends twice a week. Her dance school normally competes in street dancing competitions all over Scotland and last weekend from the 24th of august to the 26th had competed in the UDO worlds and there team Urban Legacy had come 3rd place in the world.
