Cooking in Room 8!
Room 8 were learning about traditional Scottish foods. We used the fabulous new kitchen facilities to create our own delicious cranachan and porridge. We were also learning about how to safely prepare and store food types too.

Health Committee begins their Fruity Friday!
The Health Committee have created posters for Fruity Friday! Our first week was a success and we had over 100 pieces of fruit eaten at lunch time.

Microorganisms-Living Yeast
Today’s experiment involved observing the microorganism yeast. We added warm water, sugar and yeast into a bottle. We then watched as the yeast takes in carbohydrates from the sugar and oxygen from the air, causing carbon dioxide. This gas slowly inflated the balloon.

Heartstart CPR
Room 12 are continuing with their Heartstart programme, developing their skills as confident individuals, effective contributors, responsible citizens and successful learners. The boys and girls are practising emergency CPR and learning how to assist in an emergency situation.
